keynote @ the 1960s revisited: the significance of the trips festival symposium, contemporary jewish museum, san francisco, friday, 22 january 2016, 1 pm.
I am honored to deliver the keynote address at the upcoming symposium in San Francisco, “The 1960s Revisited: The Significance of the Trips Festival.” The event takes place Friday, 22 January 2016, 1 pm at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, San Francisco, CA. Admission is free. No LSD-laced ice cream will be served (I think).
My talk is titled “Inside Outside – On the Significance of the Trips Festival” and explores the larger historical meanings of the Trips Festival fifty years after the event.
If you are in the Bay Area, hope to see you there. Lots of other great panels, film screenings, and events going on at the event!
