opens tonight @ storefront theater, chicago, il.
It’s an honor to get to work as dramaturg and historian-in-residence with The Seldoms on RockCitizen, a multimedia dance theater piece that explores the social movements of the 1960s to probe how citizenship rocks and gets rocked, and how it might still need a good dose of rocking today.
RockCitizen premieres tonight, Thursday, 5 May 2016, at the Storefront Theater in Chicago, and will be there this weekend and next. Tickets and more info here. My program notes here: “Movement Politics: On The Seldoms’ RockCitizen.”
