#34 - The Vanishing Signifier
One of the delights of Chicago is the city's amazing signage. Chicago has more great leftover relics for stores and such from the 1920s through the 1970s than anywhere else I've ever been.
Though the store's spiritual salve remains readily available, one of the greatest signs I've seen thus far seems to have vanished due to renovations. Please return the sign that reads, Leland House of Liquors: We Cater to Your Spiritual Needs.
